Delivery:

Deliveries will usually be made within two business days of receipt of payment into our account. Please note that cheques may take 4-5 business days to clear.
We will arrange our courier to deliver the Quad bike to your premises, and will contact you to arrange a suitable time. From payment to shipment, your quad will usually arrive within ten days, barring any stock or logistical issues beyond our control.

Receipt of delivery and use:

The quads will be delivered in their original manufacturer’s container. They are almost completely assembled apart from attaching the wheels, and other minor attachments. They do however, require a competent adult who is familiar with quad bikes and their assembly and we would advise using a mechanic to complete the build. We will not be responsible for bad or incomplete assembly resulting in damage to the quad, or injury to yourself or others. Instructions from the manufacturer are provided.

The road legal quad bikes require registration with the DVLA and insurance for road use. All documentation to secure registration and insurance will be provided with the quad.

 

If you wish to pick your quad up from our warehouse, then you can do so free of charge. We will also build the bike for you free of charge if you choose to collect. Please contact us to arrange a time.


Warranty

Warranty

We offer a six months warranty on our quad bikes which cover the following:

Quad Body, Chassis and Frame, Alloy Wheels, Engine, Rear Axle, Shocks, Brakes, and Exhaust pipes. Other parts such as bulbs, light casings, reflectors are not covered under this warranty, as they are not considered mechanically defective and in certain cases can be damaged during the riding or shipping process. It is therefore difficult to determine how these parts were damaged. We can however replace these at a small fee which is usually under £20 depending on the market price for the part.

The warranty does not cover misuse of the quad(s) such as crashing the quad, breaking any part of the quad through abuse, adding the wrong fuel, getting a puncture, and neglectful care.

Due to the nature of quad bike use, this warranty requires that you perform a quad health check after 200 miles of use. This should be done by a qualified mechanic who will change the oil, check all nuts and bolts, brakes, wheels, and engine and provide an overall assessment of the quad to meet with legal standards of use. You are then required to provide us with proof of this check-up, failure to do this will void your warranty.

We also recommend a service check every 500 miles.

If a part does break during the warranty period, please contact us with the details and we will send you a warranty form and advise you further.

If you are returning a defective item that is covered by the warranty, please make sure it is returned with all packaging materials, and we will inspect the part or item to check for signs of abuse.If we are satisfied with the defectiveness, and usage of a part or item, we will replace it free of charge within
the 6 month warranty period.

Returns:

Products bought online are subject to the distance selling rules. If you change your mind and decide you no longer want one of our products, then you can return the item during the 7 day “cooling off period” This applies to online sales only and to unused items. If you have added petrol to the tank, or used the quad bike in any way, then the item cannot be returned under the cooling off period, as we cannot re-sell the item as new. Under distance
selling rules, you as a customer are required to incur any and all costs in returning the items to us. The item should be returned in its original packaging. If the item is damaged during return, you are also responsible for any costs to repair the item to reach a sellable and safe standard.
We will accept your return under distance selling regulations, providing they meet the aforementioned conditions.If you visit us to inspect a quad bike and then decide to buy online and return it, the distance selling rules do not apply.

All other returns not covered under the distance selling regulations will be exchanged for another item of equal used value. We do not offer refunds, as we cannot re-sell the item as new. If you are returning a new unused item, within the 6 month warranty period, we will provide you a new replacement of equal value.By purchasing a product online, or at our warehouse, you are entering into a legal agreement with Sterling Design UK ltd. T/A Racing Raptor Quad Bikes. By this agreement, it is your intention to waive any rights to sue or exercise any legal right to seek damages from Sterling Design UK Ltd, trading as racing raptor quad bikes. You also agree that you are over the age of 18 years and have read and understood the terms and conditions set out on this page. By this legal agreement, You are hereby aware that you have had the opportunity to ask any and all questions regarding this agreement and the content therein. you also hereby agree that the seller(s) are not responsible for any damage, expense, liability, legal fees, injury, loss or any other costs or financial loss which may result in the use of this motor vehicle. you, the buyer hereby agree that you are solely responsible for any
and all persons who use or operate any product purchased from racing raptor quads.
